MOBE Training: Understand These Terms to Manage Your Business Finances Better

Even if you are starting up your business with great financing, a good business idea, market with great potential and enthusiasm for business, your business is still at a great risk of failure if you don’t understand the basics of the business world, especially the elementary financial concepts. This are basic business concepts that will influence your long term financial strategies, including negotiating and setting up basic cost structures for your business.
This MOBE training guide offers some of the basic, essential concepts you should understand in order to keep your business finances on track.

Gross Margin
Gross margin is your company’s total sales revenue minus the cost of goods sold, divided by total sales revenue percentage. It details the percentage total of sales revenue your company gets to keep after subtracting your cost of production. The higher the percentage, the more your company gets to keep on each sale. Understanding gross margin is very important as it impacts your breakeven and the profit you make beyond break even.

Bottom Line
Bottom line is your company’s income after you have deducted all expenses from returns. It differs from gross margin in that its takes into account all expenses, not just the cost of goods sold. Bottom line includes both your company’s net earnings and net income. You need to understand the bottom line in relation to your financial actions, that is, how your financial decisions will increase or decrease your company’s net earnings. Bottom line will also help you make decision on how much to reinvest and how much to put in your savings accounts.

Benchmark
This are a point of reference set of standards used to evaluate a company’s performance in comparison to industry’s best. Benchmarking usually measures time, quality and cost. Investors will measure your growth looking at the benchmarks you have reached in a certain period of time. For example, they will measure if you have reached the benchmark of having a certain amount of recurring revenue after two years in the market.

Conclusion
These are just a few important financial terms you will meet along your entrepreneurial journey. Understanding them and knowing how each concept can benefit your business will help you improve the way you make strategic financial decisions, thus not only keeping your business afloat, but actually generating great profit that opens opportunity for business growth.

Matt Lloyd On Top Tier Traffic

‘Top tier traffic’ is a phrase largely thrown around by traffic vendors when they advertise their service. It is quite an ambiguous word that depends on the user’s intentions. In most cases the implication is that the traffic you get is of higher quality than your usual traffic. It could mean the traffic you are getting is from a country classed as ‘tier one’ because of possible high conversion rates.

Matt Lloyd advice's not to get too caught up with words and labels like that as most of the times the traffic you are getting is just like any other traffic. He advises focusing on getting quality, targeted traffic that is right for your particular offer.

Good Traffic

But how do you know if the traffic is good? Matt Lloyd says the question you should ask yourself to determine if the traffic is good is ‘did I make any sales from this traffic?’. Matt Lloyd says you should evaluate the results of the traffic after 90 days to determine the answer.

This is in accordance with you taking your responsibility. You should be adding the leads you got from the traffic to your lists, then follow up with those leads to build a relationship.

After you have taken all the necessary effort, and you still have not made sales after 90 days, Matt Lloyd advice's looking into two things. First you want to consider whether the traffic was right for your offer, was it the right target with the right purchasing power?

Secondly, Matt Lloyd suggests looking at your processes. Evaluate your ability to convert, and find out what you can do better, if indeed the traffic is right for your offer. You want to look at your follow-up process, how often did you email them? Was your copy clear and detailed? Did you form a relationship where those people trust you enough to buy from you? You have to perfect your sales funnel and follow-up processes to facilitate and encourage conversion.

Conclusion

Often when people do not get results after buying traffic, it largely lies on their shoulders. It is possible that the traffic you bought was not right for your offers, but if you bought from a reputable vendor offering genuine traffic, it could be that you did not do enough to get the leads to convert.

Mobe Review :Segmenting Email Lists for More Opens, Click Throughs, and Conversion

Mobe Review :Customers have different needs, wants, and preferences. Yet marketers are still sending them generic emails to advertise their products. Hence the low open rates and the general believe that email marketing is dead.
Email marketing is still very much useful and can generate you great results when used properly. To sell your products better through emails, you have to segment your lists into categories that cater for groups with similar needs.

How to Segment
Mobe Review :Slice your emailing lists based on the information you have about the customers. What are their buying habits? What do they do for a living, their spending capacity, etc. Group people with more similarities together, and send them deals that satisfies their needs.
Try to make the segments as detailed as possible, for example, people who bought a specific product. If your segmenting is right, you’ll end up with happy customers who receive promotions relevant to them.

How Will Segmenting Help?
Mobe Review :Instead of broadcasting generic content to everyone and hoping it appeals to a majority, segmenting helps you target what people actually want.
Your emails will get more open rates if they are targeted to the right audience. Use subject lines specific to that particular segment to catch their interest and make them open.
You will also have more clickthroughs when your content is relevant to the customer’s needs. People become interested in links that offer content relating to their needs.
Your unsubscribe rates will reduce, because your content will not be viewed as spam. People will actually appreciate receiving information they can actually use.
And most importantly, you will improve your conversion rates as the products you are promoting are what people want.

Conclusion
Mobe Review :Each customer is unique in their own needs. Study their background, purchase history and interest, and group them according to what’s important to them. Segmenting will help you maximize your message’s effectiveness and ultimately make more sales.

MOBE Review: Invest in Yourself for Business Success

You are your own most important brand, hence you should spend time nurturing and developing yourself. All your business ideas, strategies, and planning's effectiveness depends on how knowledgeable and evolved you are in business. And the best way to gain knowledge, understanding, and growth in any topic is through learning. This article will show you three best ways to invest on yourself to improve your business decision making skills and grow your business to its optimal potential.

1) Invest on Self Learning Material

The greatest secret to most successful people is that they never stop learning. They understand that what might be a top trend today will likely be outdated tomorrow, so they constantly seek new learning materials. In his book 'No Excuses: The Power of Self-Discipline,' Brian Tracy advises investing 3% of your earnings back in yourself. Invest in books, audio materials, and industry newsletters that will keep you updated in the latest trends of your industry.

2) Invest in Events and Networking

Professional events and gatherings offer a great opportunity to make new connections and networks; and connections are very important in growing your business. Seek out quality conferences and seminars that top businesspeople attend. Don't just focus on the price of the event, but look at the value you gain from it. You'll get to hear from many accomplished people during this gatherings, interact with them, and get a chance to pick their brain. You will learn fresh and profitable ideas on how to conduct business, and the more top business people you are acquainted with the more your credibility and leadership grows in the industry. You could also find collaboration opportunities and business partners, which means new products, new markets, and more profit.

3) Invest in Coaching

A good coach is an invaluable investment for your growing business. Good coaches are experienced in the industry and will have provided support for many other businesses who have succeeded. They are aware of the many pitfalls most new entrepreneurs fall in, so they will be able to steer you away from them. Coaching also helps you save time and money by offering you proven systems that work, instead of trying and failing over and over again. With a good coach, you will be able to launch your business faster and successfully, and start making profits. Instead of looking at self-investments as expenses, see them in turns of returns. Investing on yourself wisely will gain you huge and lasting payoffs for both your personal self and your business.

Matt Lloyd On Finding Goods to Promote

The products you choose to promote have a great impact on the success of your affiliate business. It seems easy enough, you register with an affiliate program, choose some of their available products, create a few links and put them on your website. Several weeks down the line when you still haven't made any sales, you are going to start wondering what went wrong. Your marketing strategy was pretty solid. The problem might be coming from the products you chose to promote. Matt Lloyd advises choosing products that are good for customers, hence they will be good for conversion. A good product will have the following qualities;

1) Conversion potential – choose products that can compel your site visitors to perform a desired action like clicking your links. If your product can't convert visitors, you are wasting time and money on it. people won't buy it, and you won't get paid.

2) Attractiveness to existing customers – a good product is one that is in line with what your existing audience expects from your website. If your blog topic is 'Starting Your Own Business', your audience expects products along that line. Promoting a car waxing service to them might not interest them.

3) Good for leads – similar to customers, people who visit your website because of an interest in a particular topic. If they don't find what they are looking for they will just leave your page and find what they are looking for somewhere else.

Know Your Audience

Think of the current crowd you have, and the type of people your website focus will attracts. What are they looking for? What do they respond to? Choose a product that will help your audience solve a problem and realize their dreams and desires. Find out your audience's needs, their fears, their frustrations. Finding out could be as simple as sending an email with genuine interest in finding out more about them. Let them know you have their best interest at heart, and would like to find out what they want so you can send them only information they can use. Once you have that information, it will be easy to pick offers in line with your audiences'needs.
